AtDesk is a Chrome extension that simulates browser activity to keep your status active on Slack, Teams, Discord, Google Meet, and Zoom. This policy explains what data we collect, what we don't, and how to request deletion.

What the extension collects

The AtDesk extension itself collects no personal data. It does not read your messages, access your browsing history, record keystrokes, or transmit information about the pages you visit.

Anonymous usage events are sent to PostHog when you: install the extension, toggle AtDesk on or off, sign in with Google, or upgrade to Pro. These events contain only anonymous identifiers and aggregate counts — no email, name, or any personally identifiable information.

What we collect when you sign in

Signing in with Google is optional and only required to upgrade to Pro. When you sign in, we store the following in our database:

  • Your Google account email address
  • Your display name
  • Your plan tier (free or pro)
  • The timestamp of your payment (if applicable)

We never store your Google password. Authentication is handled through Google's OAuth flow.

Payments

Payments are processed by DodoPayments. AtDesk never receives or stores your credit card number, CVV, or billing details.

Analytics

We use PostHog for anonymous event analytics (toggle usage, install counts). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events.

What we do not collect

  • Browsing history or visited URLs
  • Page content or screenshots
  • Keyboard input or mouse position data
  • Slack, Teams, or Discord message content
  • Device identifiers beyond an anonymous UUID stored locally

Cookies and local storage

AtDesk uses no cookies. The extension uses chrome.storage.local to store settings locally on your device. The website uses localStorage to store your authentication token when signed in.

Data deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, email founder@atdesk.app from the address you used to sign in. We will delete your data within 7 days.

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
